How the wallet works

Top-ups add prepaid credit to your Cartesian wallet, in US dollars. Before each job you review its maximum price. Only work that is carried out is charged; any part of the held amount that is not used returns to your wallet automatically.

Unused credit

You can ask for a refund of credit you have not spent within 30 days of the top-up. We return it to the original payment method. Credit already used for completed work is not refundable.

When something goes wrong

If a job is charged but does not deliver what was shown before you approved it because of a fault on our side, write to us. We will review it and return the charge to your wallet or to your card.

How to ask

Email cartesian@formas.ai from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the top-up. We reply within two business days. Approved refunds are sent through Stripe and usually reach your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

If you see a charge you do not recognise, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank; we can usually resolve it faster.
